I'll never forget how the staff helped me find my lost barrette during my first stay. I highly recommend trying their breakfast.

The hotel was in a practical location next to the historic centre and the Cathedral, the walls, museum and of course the cafes and shops. We could drink something at La Alacena, located 2 km away. Thoroughly enjoyed the way our a nice size and well-equipped queen room with a nice 'juliet' balcony was arranged...

We were moved to a guest room with impeccable bathroom. The location was comfortable and practical - ease of access to Plaza de Santa Teresa.

Excellent location, nice big room and helpful staff. On a popular, noisy street but windows double glazed (and good air-condioning). Excellent value.
Not the fault of the hotel but parking is very difficult. No wi-fi, ethernet connection in some rooms.

Breakfast selection lacking, mostly pre-wrapped pastries and limited fresh options. The bar was closed . Fruit appeared stale and croissants were unappealing. Room lacked extra pillows for comfort when sharing.

The bigger advantage of this Hotel is only the very attractive price for staying just in the middle center of Avila. The room is also various spacious and well noiseless from the outside streets.
Even the breakfast is paid a part; I did not like it at all. Is has a very limited choice of food. The bread is reduced to simple toasts that you may ask to the servant. The orange juice is quite horrible and they did not provide nor eggs, neither bacon or else. The Hotel is not very quiet inside. I have waked up sometimes with noise from the corridor of other customers that were passing around.

had perfectly pleasant stay in this ideal hotel, the staff were attentive, location was impeccable near city gate & cafes. i was offered a room with superb views of the illuminated town walls & cathedral. location: the property was short walk to the cathedral, the walls, museum and of course the cafes and shops and a map of avila. the lunch in restaurante bococo close to the hotel had every choice imaginable.

For a three star hotel our rate of 48 EUR for a room was excellent. Rooms are extremely large, clean with nice bathroom. We also had breakfast for 6.50 EUR which was OK. Location is excellent, just inside the walled old city of Avilla.
I could imagine there could be a problem with parking during the high season, given there are limited parking spaces in the old city. Option is to park outside the walled area but this could be quite far from the hotel.

It's central location within the walled city of Avila was superb. Wonderful views of the surrounding countryside can be had from either walking along the walls of the city or the small park just outside the city.

The front desk staff at Hotel Las Moradas are very helpful, cheerful, friendly and very pleasant to deal with.
The fact that it is in a walking street that does not allow vehicle entry, is something to be communicated to the guests beforehand. However, this was more than made up by the friendly and kind reception staff.
